SUMMARY:Beginning Ballet Level 1ages 5-8  Tues 4:00-4:45
DESCRIPTION:This entry-level class encourages dancers to build strength as they learn spatial awareness\, patterns\, and basic ballet techniques. Working with a barre will be introduced but most work will be done center floor. \nCovered concepts include but are not limited to: \n\nFeet and arm positions in 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd\, parallel 6th\npasses\, grand jete\, pique\,\npointing and flexing feet\, plie\, tendu\,\nposture\, balancing\, and stretching\nwalking and running on releve\nEchappe saute\nBouree\nBalancing and more.\n\n  \nSchedule: 1 fee for 4 weekly classes each month \nDress Code: A black short sleeve leotard and pink tights are preferred with canvas or leather shoes that are form-fitting to the feet so the teacher can see how the student is working their muscles. No slipper-style shoes.  All colors of leotards are allowed but each child will need the above for the Dec recital so if you are purchasing dance attire please start with these. \nPlease read the Policy and Tuition sub menu before signing up for this class as all terms and conditions must be agreed to at time of registration.  A $10 registration fee is required 1x per year at the time of signing up and holds your place in the desired class.   Thank you.

DESCRIPTION:2nd level ballet class for dancers who have had beginning ballet training or are committed to learning fast and being dedicated to a more structured environment.  Must be 8 years old by September.  Focus on endurance\, technique\, and increased ballet skills.
